Most of us are required to dress up for work five days a week. Sure, it is nice to wear fine clothes as you tend to feel good about yourself when you are wearing a suit or a new dress that you love. However, at times and especially when we are relaxing at home in the evenings or just hanging around the house on the weekend with family and a few good friends, it is also nice to let our hair down a bit and wear some clothing that we are comfortable in and that are actually fun to wear.
Most of us love wearing our favorite worn jeans and a T shirt at home. Maybe you have a few movie T shirts in your collection that remind you of some of your favorite flicks. If you are a 'trekkie' and have every episode of 'Star Wars' on DVD, then you may have own a few commemorative Trekkie tees. Nowadays you can easily find T shirts that have themes based on the most popular Hollywood movies that have been released to date. These T shirts quickly become collector's items and will only increase in value as the years go by.
masquerade parties are great fun to attend on the weekends and are very popular as people like dressing up in costumes and masks. Afterall, Halloween is one of America's most popular holidays and for good reason-people love to dress up and be someone else, at least for a night. There are many costume shops in most big cities that sell and/or rent costumes. Some feature costumes that look like famous cartoon characters and some may even have 80s costumes allowing people to be Madonna or Michael Jackson look-a-likes.
Throwing an 80's theme party is always a fun way to spend a Saturday night. You can pull out all of those classic pop rock songs that were among the Top 40 back then and invite the gang over for a night of nostalgia. Guests can arrive decked out as their favorite pop star or celebrity from the 80s or can simply arrive wearing an 80's T shirt that features Seinfeld or the popular 1980s game Atari for example.
Weekends are for taking it easy, having some fun and forgetting about the work week that just ended. So take off those stuffy work clothes and slip on your favorite movie T shirt and relax!
