How to Get a Clear Face And Keep It With These Great Tips For a Clear Face

Boy! There's nothing like a clear face, free from pimples, blemishes and spots. There's nothing like being able to look in the mirror and seeing smooth clear skin and a clear complexion. And, there's nothing like being able to stop being embarrassed about bad skin problems.

So you want to know how to get a clear face and acne-free skin? Following is some information and tips for a clear face and what works for acne.

Where does acne come from?

Although acne can be very complex, the causes of it are relatively simple. Basically, acne will come from a combination of the following:

o Irritated hair follicles
o Loosened, dead skin cells
o Overproduction of oil from sebaceous glands under the skin
o Bacterial build up
o Clogged pores

Other factors than can cause acne are:

o Heredity
o Stress (this can make oil glands overact)
o Hormone fluctuations (men and women)
o Some pore clogging cosmetics
o Dirty make-up applicators

So what works for acne?

Following are some clear face tips and information about the first steps to take to get rid of acne problems and get the clear skin you desire. With knowing this information and following through on using an effective acne treatment system, your skin should clear within a week or two.

Clear Face Tips #1: Do a skin analysis

Make a determination about what type of skin you are dealing with. Is your skin dry? Is your skin oily? Do you have a combination of oily and dry skin? Is your skin normal? Or do you have sensitive skin? Knowing what type of skin you have will help you determine what works for acne, blemishes and spots for yourself.

Clear Face Tips #2: Oily skin

Oily skin appears shiny and pores are often big which makes the skin prone to blackheads. If the skin on your face tends to be oily all over, or on certain areas, it is best to use a face wash that is oil-free, and also contains salicylic acid on affected areas. Neutrogena Face Wash is a good product to use for cleansing. Also, using a facial mask helps with oily skin. Queen Helene Mint Julep Mask is great!

Also for oily skin, women make sure you use only oil-free, hypoallergenic makeup products.

Clear Face Tips #3: Dry skin

Dry skin tends to have a tightness to it, and is prone to developing fine wrinkles. For people with dry skin, you will want to use a face wash that will not strip natural oils from your skin. Also, instead of toner, you will need to use a good moisturizing cream. Ponds Dry Skin Cream is good.

Clear Face Tips #4: Combination skin or normal skin

With skin that is combination or normal, you will notice that the pores are not real big or small, but medium sized. This type of skin may also be prone to an oily t-zone, while being more dry on the cheek areas. A good cleansing product to use for combination/normal skin is Murad's Energizing Pomegranate Cleanser.

Clear Face Tips #5: Sensitive skin

This skin type is very delicate and the pores are very fine. Sensitive skin has a tendency to become inflamed, and also to break out in rashes from allergic reactions. Murad's Soothing Gel Cleanser may work well for you as a wash.

Also for sensitive skin, ladies make sure you use only hypoallergenic makeup products.

Clear Face Tips #6: Get rid of spots on the face

One of the best ways to get rid of spots is to use fade cream. There are many effective fade creams to choose from and they are relatively inexpensive, and one container usually lasts about 4-6 weeks. Be sure and choose one that is best for your skin type and be sure to follow the instructions on proper use. Also, do not be discouraged if it appears that the spots are not fading at first. It generally takes at least three weeks before you start to see a difference in the appearance of spots. So keep it up! Be persistent. Cocoa butter can also fade spots, but it may take a little longer. Also vitamin E oil can help smooth scars. But, remember, it won't happen overnight so continue use every day. You will see a difference after a few weeks.

Clear Face Tips #7: Follow an effective regimen for a clear face

Although the above tips for a clear face are good, they do not make up a complete effective facial regimen. To get clear skin, you need to follow a complete acne-free skin care system which includes useful information about your skin condition, diet advice, and a step-by-step routine in order to get the results you need. Cleansing, alone, is not enough.

I'm Audrey Malone and I have been acne-free over 4 years now, and I had cystic acne on my face and I had breakouts on my body and butt too. And you know what? It has all completely cleared, thanks to the system I use. You will find out how to get a clear face too by visiting: www.AcneControlTreatment.com [http://acnecontroltreatment.com/site]

How to Shrink Wrap Gifts and Other Items

Next time you're out take a close look around and you'll be amazed at how many products you see that are shrink wrapped. More and more products are encased in this protective plastic to secure them, keep them clean and provide a clear display of the product. There are three methods of shrink wrapping, which include using a blow dryer, a heat gun, or a professional, industrial shrink wrap machine.

To learn how to shrink wrap you'll need plastic sheeting or plastic bags, preferably those types designed for use with a heat gun. Basically, plastic is wrapped around the item that you wish to shrink and the heat from the gun will shrink the plastic onto the object that you're wrapping. Items can be sealed air tight and if necessary multiple layers may be applied until you have the durability and toughness desired as a covering.

People use it at home, to package gifts, homemade goodies, gift baskets and small items that need to be protected and kept clean in storage. Small businesses and retailers make good use of heat guns for shrink wrapping any number of items for store displays.

Before starting any shrink wrapping project, put on safety goggles and a pair of thick gloves. Heat guns emit a lot of heat and it's not worth getting burned by not wearing the appropriate safety equipment. If possible wear a face mask to reduce your chances of inhaling fumes from the products you are heat wrapping that may contain adhesives, paint or other forms of plastic. If you're wondering how to shrink wrap for yourself, let's take a look at how easy it is and show you how to get started.

Work in an uncluttered area with room to work on a solid flat surface and plug a heat gun into an electric socket to heat up. Guns heat up quickly and should be resting on a stand that is usually included in the purchase of the gun. Place the object that you wish to wrap into a bag and leave a half an inch of wrap around the object, trimming off excess amounts. Be sure and tape closed any open edges. Hold the heat gun, depressing the trigger and point towards the object. Continue heating until the wrap shrinks around the object, melding to the shape.

If you're into making your own potpourri, candles, soaps, gift baskets or any other types of handcrafted goods, you might want to check into shrink wrapping. It's cheap to do and comes out with professional looking results. Now that you know how to shrink wrap, give it a try.

Are you looking at shrink wrap options? If so, be sure to visit my site to find out more about shrink wrapping and how to choose the right shrink wrap machine.

How To Make Your Own Captain America Halloween Costume

Captain America fans across the world have flocked into cinemas to see this year's release of the film, and with this surge in popularity it is expected that Cap will be arriving on doorsteps looking for candy. With this in mind, the Captain America Halloween costume should be easily obtainable.

Most costume stores should carry the outfit, but with the low price tag can come the low quality and some fans may not be content with the looks given. Superheroes typically have a high standard of looks, and an avid fan might want to emulate this, though specialist stores are often incredibly expensive.

In order to make your own costume, the first step is deciding which style to pay homage to. In the film we see the hero using a firearm, whilst in comics he was a hand to hand specialist. This is not only an aesthetics dilemma to consider, but also a legal one as the police patrol looking for deviant revelers.

Similarly, the shield Cap uses has typically been a circular type, but he has on a few occasions used a heater shield. The round shield measures at 2.5 feet wide, so plastic or something similarly light might be the preferred material to use rather than the vibranium-iron alloy in comics.

Decorated in red, blue and white with stars and stripes, the image is a patriotic one, topped off by the freedom wings at the side of the head representing the liberty eagle. The mask is blue, and has eye holes and a gap for the nose and mouth.

The torso in the comics was made of something akin to scale, but cloth should be a viable alternative. Light blue in colour, a five point star, in white, is across the center of the chest. Around the abdomen a circle of red and white vertical lines gives a girdle appearance to the suit.

The torso's blue stops at the arms as it approaches the elbow and is changed for a white, which seems to extend all the way to the hands. Red gloves cover the white, though, and stretches towards the elbow, making it difficult to determine. The trousers are blue, and boots are red, in a folded over design which may be difficult to acquire in stores.

The circular shield has three rings of red, then white, then red, and blue at the center with a white star similar to the chest. The heater shield has three stars at the top on a blue background, and vertical lines with blue in the center and edges, flanked on each side by whites, and two reds flanking those.

African Masks

Masks have long played a vital role in African cultural life. African masks are in fact dramatic demonstrations of the spirits of departed ancestors, and believed to have hidden powers of social control.

They are made according to traditional style and worn by trained performers, often with elaborate costumes, to teach and to inspire reverence for cultural history, seek protection by honoring women ancestors, and celebrate a good harvest. The ceremonial events express important social, religious, and moral values of the whole community, and the mask's artistic and symbolic details show the same.

Masks are generally hand-crafted by well-trained artisans. In Kenya masks are made of glazed terra, whereas in other African countries, wooden masks are used. In Ghana, the Eket tribe hand-carves love masks from 'sese' wood, which is believed to bring love to one who displays it. Sese wood is commonly found in Ghana, and is very durable.

The use of wood in African masks has a very long history. Traditional African beliefs say that trees are living objects with souls, which provide a life source to masks carved from them. So before carving a mask, the carver consults his spiritual advisors, undergoes a purification ceremony and offers a sacrifice to please the spirit of the trees. When the tree is cut down, the mask carver chews some of the sap to achieve brotherhood with the tree. The carver believes that all these activities help in the betterment of his craftsmanship, and increase harmony with nature and the gods.

Expert Tips For Smooth, Healthy, and Beautiful Skin

Beauty of the skin starts from inside your body! Your skin needs fresh air, exercise, a proper diet, minerals and vitamins and it needs protection from the sun.

Many people just put skin cream on their skin, thinking it is going to make it soft and smooth. Skin cream on the skin feels soft and smooth, but if you want your skin to benefit from that cream, you need to dampen your skin first then add the cream. The cream will help retain the moisture in the skin.

Start walking and building up your muscle tone. Muscle tone will keep your skin from looking so saggy.

Keep your skin clean. Do not scrub your face. The face does not need scrubbing. And, neither does your back. In fact, the more you scrub on it, the more acne you can get and more trauma to your skin.

A warm face cloth with a non-chemical soap, patted. Then a good gentle rinse. You next dry your face by patting with a soft clean towel. You can actually not use soap on your face at all, especially if you have dry skin.

USE Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs) as a perfect exfoliate for your face. A good cream should last a long time and not be expensive. Use it at night when you wash your face before going to bed.

It is derived from fruit, milk and sugar cane and when used on the skin it helps remove the dead skin cells, which will give your face a much younger, fresher look.

Easy, effective and cheap ways to do a mask are: Use an egg yolk and honey mask. Just mix one egg yolk with a little honey and spread it on your face and neck. When it dries, rinse it off. It makes your skin feel very soft.

Another one:

Use plain egg yolk. It is good for acne, too. Mix it up. Spread it on your face for 20 to 30 minutes. Rinse it off.

Another one:

Take plain egg white, beat up the egg white, and then spread it on your face until dry about 20 minutes, rinse off with water. This leaves your face refreshed and helps clean the pores. You can make masks of many things that are right in your kitchen, such as oatmeal. Grind it up. Mix it with some skimmed milk and let it dry. Rinse well. Milk can attract bacteria so you don't want to leave it on your face.

Ancient Chinese Secrets from Ning Hua: Wrinkles Reduction

Two tablespoons of fresh cucumber juice and same amount of egg white (about one egg), stir well, and then apply on wrinkles every night after cleansing. In the morning, rinse off thoroughly using warm water. Keep using for a month, your skin will be firmed, your wrinkles will disappear.

Pigment Fading:

5 teaspoons fresh tomato juice with 1 teaspoon honey, apply on the pigment, rinse off thoroughly. Keep using for 10-15 days; your pigment will fade away.

Fruit Mask:

Juice apple, cucumber and pear, mixed with flour, add a teaspoon of water, and stir thoroughly. Apply after cleansing, avoiding eye and mouth areas, leave on for 20 minutes and rinse off thoroughly.

Do you know these 10 tips on how to get glowing skin. Best of all, these tips are so easy to use that you can put them to work immediately. Also, do you eat these foods for clear, healthy and beautiful skin? They can really make a profound difference in how your skin looks.

Great Halloween Costume Ideas For Men

Are you tired of the same old Dracula, Elvis or grim reaper costumes? Perhaps you're looking to try something different this Halloween? Using your imagination and a few unique props you can put together, here are a few men's Halloween costume ideas that will make you stand out from the crowd this year.

Blackjack Dealer

Dress yourself in black dress pants, a black vest, white shirt, black bow tie, and of course a name tag. The blackjack table prop will take a bit of skill. Using heavy cardboard, cut out an angled U shape from cardboard. Paint the cardboard black and secure green felt along the top. Along the wider outer edge, draw rectangular shapes to indicate where the cards will be dealt. Closer to your body, add some information like "Vegas Casino", etc. in fancy script. Attach two long straps to the front and back of the table to slip over your shoulders. And there you have it... a portable blackjack table. Don't forget to carry a deck of cards with you!

Victorian Vampire

Instead of a typical Dracula cape, dress yourself in black pants and a long Victorian styled black coat. Line the collar in red velvet and stand it up. Attach a shoulder cape (some of these Victorian coats already come with the cape attached), add grey lace ruffles at the cuffs. Finish off with a grey lace cravat in place of a tie, and a black top hat.

Zombie Doctor

You'll need some doctor scrubs and a lab coat. Tear and rip the bottoms and cuffs of each clothing piece. Using fabric paints or dyes add blood stains to the garments. If you're feeling particularly gross, attach some fake "flesh" here and there. Cover your head with a surgical cap and zombie face mask. Wear "bloody" latex gloves to cover your hands. Don't forget your stethoscope doctor!

Chick Magnet

Cut out foam in the shape of a magnet and cover the magnet with a shiny gray material. Cover the last 6 inches of each end with black material. Glue or pin small toy baby chickens on the edges of the magnet. Place the magnet around your neck and shoulders.

How to Make a Colorful Sexy Peacock Costume

A peacock costume is really something nice to be worn this Halloween. It has colorful clothes, daring and trendy outfits perfect for teens and adults alike. They are different than other animal costumes portrayed on Halloween. If you want to wear a colorful and sexy peacock costume, then here are simple steps on how to create a nice Peacock costume that would really be perfect for you this Halloween.

Materials Needed:

• Any Old Blue Dress
• 2 Meters (or more) of Chiffon Fabric
• Yellow, Green and Blue Sequins
• Peacock Feathers
• Ribbon
• Glue gun and glue stick
• Scissors, Needle and Thread

Step 1: Making the Dress

If you have pleasant sexy blue dress in your wardrobe, then you wouldn't need much alteration with that. However, if you have those old ankle-length dresses of 60s or 70s, then you should cut some length from that dress and make it into a mini dress. You can expose some legs and be confident with it. We are trying to make a sexy Peacock costume that would be stunning and would not look funny when worn.

Step 2: Make the Tail

The usual Peacock tail is fanning. But, they are not really fanning at all times. Therefore, we just aim for the closed tail of a peacock. We would need few meters of chiffon fabric. Fold it into two and tie the folded part with a ribbon. Divide the fabric into four parts, cut it if you need to, then fold one part of it and sew the end to the ribbon or just tie it with it. Then, attach to the back of your dress just like a tail.

Step 3: Adding Details

Get a glue stick and put all the sequins everywhere of the dress and of the tail. Be creative and get a style that you want. You can actually sew the sequins individually but that would take a lot of effort and time. Thus, just play with your glue gun and glue stick and be creative with your dress.

Step 4: Head Dress

You could actually wear your hair up like you usually do or you could even just tie it with a ribbon. Just put
the peacock feathers in your hair as a headdress. If you cannot find any peacock feather, you could also use a nice colorful ostrich for it. However, keep in mind to stick with the motif, though and pick blue or blue-green ones.

Wearing a peacock costume need not be like those funny animal costumes with beaks and funny wings and tails. You could be sexy in your own creative way. Thus, be different and wear you animal Peacock costume this Halloween differently. Have fun!

Halloween Face Painting Ideas

Halloween is such fun for kids of all ages, and adults too. Here are some face painting ideas to get you in the Halloween spirit.

Halloween face painting idea 1: pumpkin

A bright orange pumpkin painted on each cheek. Black paint used to paint eyes, nose and mouth. A light grey would be used to show the ridges of the pumpkin as well as its outline.
An alternative would be to do a full face pumpkin with an orange face base (blending a darker orange shade over cheekbones), black triangle shape over the eyes (extending above and below the eye area), a black nose and a large black mouth (need to cover more than just the lips).

Halloween face painting idea 2: skull

A full face design. Has a white face as the base, large black 'panda' eyes, black and white vertical stripes on the lips (with the white stripes wider than the black ones) and a trickle of red from one side of the mouth (to indicate blood).

Halloween face painting idea 3: vampire

A full face design. A white face base, bright red lips, fangs coming out of each corner of the lower lip (outline is light grey, fill is white, and tip is red to denote some blood), eye lids are smoky grey (right up to and over eye brows), eye brow then exaggerated with black sweeping strokes.

Halloween face painting idea 4: bat

A full face design. A white face base, bat's face painted on forehead above the nose (it's in black with light grey for eyeballs, and for some definition in ears); the bat's body is painted in black on the nose and ends at the base of the nostrils (use different shadings of black; the bat's wings extends out from head and body and covers the eyes curving up towards the temple and down the outside of the eye to mid cheek (again use different black shadings and some fine dark grey strokes to paint some definition into the wings); the lips are painted in dark grey with an exaggerated upward curl at the corners.

Halloween Recipes - Icky and Gross Halloween Party Food

Halloween food can be great fun when dishes like Fake Mucus are served. Whether you use these Halloween recipes for a party or as scary snacks for your family, these creepy dishes will provide a spooky menu and ghoulish Halloween party ideas.

Eerie Eyeballs: Hard boil 12 eggs. Cool and peel each one. Cut them in half lengthwise. Remove the yolks and mix them with mayonnaise and mustard until your mixture is smooth. Scoop the mixture back into the white eggs. Now add one pimento stuffed green olive to the center of each egg for an eerie eyeball.

Fake Mucus: Heat one-half cup of water until it starts to boil then remove the water from the stove. Sprinkle in 3 packages of unflavored gelatin, let it sit for a few minutes, then stir it with a fork. Add light corn syrup until you have about 1 cup of thick liquid. Stir again with a fork until you have long strands of thick snot. Add water if you want your snot a little thinner.

Human Finger Food: Using 1 package of refrigerated biscuit dough, separate biscuits and roll each one out until good and flat. Take 5 hot dogs and cut each one of them in half. Lay each halved hot dog onto the center of a flattened biscuit and roll the dough around the hot dog. Placed the wrap hot dog on a cookie sheet. Using 10 sliced almonds, put an almond on each rolled up hot dog at the end so it looks like a finger nail. Now with a tooth pick draw knuckle lines and bake for 10 minutes (bake at the temperature listed on the biscuit dough package). Use ketchup as a bloody looking dip.

Little Witch's Broom: The little brooms are made with fruit roll ups and thin pretzel sticks. Cut off 2 inches lengthwise from the fruit roll up. Turn the fruit roll up so the short ends are on the sides. Now on one long end, cut little broom bristle strips almost to the top (leave about 1/4" uncut). Using a little water, wet the top long end of the fruit roll up and wrap that around the end of one of the pretzel sticks. You just made a witch's broom you can eat.

Gross Brains: Cut 2 very ripe avocados in half (lengthwise) and discard the pits. Scoop out the meat of the avocados into a large bowl, throwing the skins away. Mash the avocado meat until just a few lumps remain. Stir in 5 ounces of shredded cheddar cheese, 4 tablespoons of medium chunky salsa and 5 sprigs of chopped cilantro. Salt and pepper to taste. Gross, but so good!

Frog Guts: Start by melting 1 stick of margarine in a large pan. To the margarine, add 40 large marshmallows and cook over low heat, stir constantly until the margarine and the marshmallows are melted. Remove from heat. Now add 1/2 teaspoons of vanilla extract and 2 teaspoons of green food coloring and mix well. Next, add 5 cups each of corn flake cereal and M&M's and mix again. Mixture should be bright green. Using a tablespoon, drop the mixture on a sheet of wax paper and cool for awesome frog guts.

Berry Brains: Make a package of blueberry jello and chill until it's firm. Scoop a 16 ounce carton of small curd cottage cheese into a bowl. Drain a 16 ounce can of blueberries in syrup and save the syrup. Mix the blueberries into the cottage cheese and stir well. Add food coloring to turn the cottage cheese a grayish color. Serve by putting a few spoonfuls of jello on a plate, pour some the blueberry syrup on that, and a scoop of the cottage cheese and blueberry mixture on top of that.
